Basic Electricity

These pages are for you to revise everything you did at school.  You may well have forgotten it, or never learned it because you weren't listening, or your teacher didn't have a clue about electricity.  Electricity puts people off because it is viewed as hard.  The main problem is that you cannot see it in action.  But you can measure it with simple and inexpensive instruments to get voltage and current.  From those measurements you can get a number of other different measurements like resistance and power.  The rules that govern circuit behaviour are not that hard, and understanding them is essential for success in Electrical Principles and Electronics.
